Royal Parks Floating Islands

We were commissioned to design and install a series of floating habitat islands within one of the Royal Parks, aimed at enhancing biodiversity and improving water quality.

The islands were constructed using durable, eco-friendly materials and carefully positioned to integrate naturally within the lake environment. Each unit was planted with a mix of native aquatic vegetation to provide shelter, breeding areas, and feeding opportunities for wildlife including birds, insects, and aquatic species.

As well as creating valuable habitat, the floating islands contribute to natural water filtration by absorbing excess nutrients, helping to improve overall water clarity and ecological balance.

The installation was carried out with minimal disruption to the surrounding park, ensuring both environmental sensitivity and public safety throughout the project.
