The pond was originally constructed without a lining membrane, it constantly leaked and an encroachment of Norfolk reed created a recipe for disaster. Ivel were contracted to restore and enlarge the pond, recreating the existing impressive cascade pools. During the excavation process it was very clear that the water table was high so the Ivel team were able to design and then execute a drainage system that allowed the the pond to recycle and water that became trapped beneath the liner. Once again the results speak for themselves! It’s a fantastic service station so please pop in and take a good look.
