In 2025, we were brought in during the early stages of the Chester Zoo Safari Lodge project after being recommended as consultants for the waterside planting and habitat establishment works. Our role included developing the planting plan and ecological scheme for the newly created lake surrounding the safari lodges, alongside the successful installation and planting of the giraffe moat using our pre-established coir logs.
The project was a fantastic collaboration and a really enjoyable job for the whole team. These early-stage photographs capture the installation process, habitat establishment works, and the first stages of planting around the lake edge.
